Operation Game On Approved 501 (c)(3) non profit
Paperwork has been filed and we have been approved by the IRS to make some small changes behind the scenes. We’re now accepting your donations exclusively under the 501 (c)(3) non profit organization name of Operation Game On.
As some of you know, OGO had been operating under the umbrella corporation of Pin Pals Junior Links. We’re excited to now clear up any confusion for our donors or sponsors.
Brief History: Our involvement in bringing golf to benefit those in need began in January 2006, when we started a junior golf program to teach golf to under served kids in the South Bay area. Since 9/11, and as more and more troops began returning home with life changing injuries, we refocused efforts to share this game with our returning combat-injured troops. This was a welcomed and needed rehabilitation program that doctors at the Naval Medical Center San Diego can now recommend. Our charity has achieved great success and nationwide exposure and we’re very excited to make the legal name change to our 501(c)(3) non profit organization to make it exclusively Operation Game On (effective September 1, 2012 in accordance to the IRS, the State of California, and Nevada).
Thanks again for your continued support, we could not do this without you. Our OGO Golf Classic tournament committee is already making plans for the 2013 event along with other fundraisers to help support OGO in the coming months.
May God bless and protect our troops in harms way, may God bless all of you, and may God Bless America.
Tony

In Their Words
Golf reminds us to focus on the positive and overcome adversity. Some of our troops take a moment here to share what golf now means to them as they strive to regain confidence, balance, mobility and a positive attitude.
OGO Now!
Operation Game On’s Mission
Provide golf as a form of rehabilitation for our returning combat-injured troops suffering from physical and mental disabilities. The troops' doctors regularly advise some of their patients to try our program.
Golf is good for the mind and for the body. It allows them to compete, laugh, relax, focus, and challenge their muscles outside of regular PT. It gives them hope of a clearer future after their tragic injuries and experiences of war.
It's only through your donations that we can accomplish our mission.
Golf: A Game to Last A Lifetime
Our goal is to reach out to our troops and their families to show them the honor they deserve through an introduction to the game of golf. Golf gives them a chance to compete and be active. It's a fun wholesome and challenging outdoor activity. Golf helps build self confidence and teaches determination and there's also no better place to create new friendships like the golf course.
We have several ongoing programs and events as well as our annual golf tournament. We are busy making plans for the 2013 Golf Classic and other fundraisers. Stay Tuned!
