Jim Flick, world renowned golf instructor and PGA Tour Player Pat Perez along with special friends will be on hand to celebrate the kickoff of the 2012 golf season for Operation Game On and Wives of Warriors. The military heroes and their wives have sacrificed for our country and will be there for this celebration and time to continue our honor of their service by bringing them the enjoyment of golf. We know you will not want to miss this.
We are always happy to welcome back Pat Perez to his hometown as he prepares for the 2012 Farmers Insurance Open at Torrey Pines. Before teeing it up at Torrey Pines Pat and a few of his friends want to stop by to show their appreciation to our military heroes by taking time to meet them and our contributors and sponsors that make this charity happen. This is going to be a great year for all of us! Pat’s also very excited about the work he’s done training in Scottsdale during the off season in preparation for the 2012 PGA Tour. We’ve heard talk that this year he’s really feeling it and we want to wish him all the best as he starts the West Coast swing.
We’re also honored to have at the Del Mar Golf center for this special clinic, the legendary ‘feel’ player teacher and the Hall of Fame Instructor, Jim Flick.
While there are many ways to teach and play golf, Mr. Flick has learned that simplicity works best for most of us. Jim believes that the true art of teaching golf is in helping each player to better understand their challenges and to become their own coach thereby enabling the self-confidence and self-reliance to continue learning and improving long after taking lessons. Mr. Flick has helped our Operation Game On heroes with their unique swings as they overcome the challenges of their injuries that occurred on the field of battle.
You won’t want to miss this. He is a great guy that’s spent a lifetime dedicated to helping golfers become better players – from novices to some of the greatest champions of our time. Jim’s 53 years of experience with over 200 touring professionals has earned him the uncontested title of America’s Master Golf Teacher.
