What a pleasure it is to have great supporters behind us. Thanks for your continued support and help! It allows this charity to be a positive and needed influence on the lives of so many the past few years.

We’ve seen countless returning combat-injured troops with severe physical and mental trauma that doctors send our way. They are mobile enough to get outside with us and take up golf to challenge their minds and bodies and move beyond the trauma of war.  And we are there to encourage and support them each step of the way.

It’s because of your most generous support that we continue to be a driving force that has touched so many lives. Lives in the process of healing and rehab here in San Diego.

We’re not done yet and our focus has not changed much. We want to rededicate our efforts and focus our mission for 2015 as…

 “The Year of the Veteran.”

Operation Game On - The Year of the VeteranAs you all know, the wars have come to an end and most of our men and women have returned home. The mission of OGO has always been to use golf as a form of rehabilitation as these heroes are going through traditional rehab at the Naval Medical Center San Diego and Wounded Warrior Battalion West, Camp Pendleton.

We’ve successfully accomplished our mission with more than 300 combat injured troops going through our program. We are diligently working with the VA Hospital La Jolla and will be offering OGO to those Veterans still going through rehab for injuries sustained during the Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom campaigns.

I’m sure you have all heard about the effects of PTSD, the unseen injury. It’s the real deal and we know our program can help. Just like the the physical effects, the emotional and mental scars, each can be life long lasting and OGO is committed to do whatever it takes, no matter how long it takes. We will continue to serve those that were there to protect our country and that put their lives on the line for our freedom during OIF and OEF.

OperationGameOn.org says Welcome Home Troops

Operation Game On is continuing our efforts and still needs your help so we can be there for these troops! “Leave no one behind” sounds cliche, but it’s just as important here as it is on the battlefield.

Thank you all again for your continued support and we are looking forward to serving our Veterans and active troops as long as we need to.

May God Bless and protect our troops, God Bless all of you, and God Bless America!
